• Jimmy Carter’s legacy as a peacemaker took a huge step forward at his funeral yesterday. Where else would you have Bill and Hillary Clinton in close proximity without a lamp being thrown; or Barack Obama and Donald Trump talking to each other without fists being bared; or Jill Biden and Kamala Harris sitting next to each other without pulling each others hair out. In fact, it was so peaceful that Joe Biden fell asleep.
